How we evaluate every carrier we feature:

1. Manufacturer specifications

Weight ranges, age recommendations, materials, and certifications go through a structured intake.

2. Hands-on fit

Each carrier is fit-tested on caregivers of different heights and torso lengths.

3. Parent panel feedback

Two to four parents log multi-week sessions and rate lumbar support, breathability, and ease of use.

4. Return-rate signals

We review aggregated retailer return reasons where available, looking specifically for fit and positioning complaints.
